LOCAL is an independent offline music player. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Spotify, Apple Music or any third-party downloading service.
All product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility or functionality.
LOCAL plays and stores audio files that you add to it. It does not download music, bypass protection on streaming services, or provide access to catalogues.
Only import audio files you have the right to use — files you purchased, files you created, or files you are otherwise licensed to copy. Copyright law differs between countries; check what applies to you.
Imported files are copied into LOCAL's own folder on your device. Deleting a song inside LOCAL removes that copy; it never touches your original file elsewhere.
Third-party services operate independently of LOCAL and may have their own terms and copyright restrictions. LOCAL does not provide, verify, endorse or take responsibility for any third-party website, app or service, including services that convert playlists into downloadable files.
If you choose to use a third-party service, you are responsible for confirming that it is lawful where you live and that it only offers downloads you are entitled to make.
When you are online and lyrics lookup is enabled, LOCAL requests lyrics from the third-party catalogue LRCLIB. Availability and usage rights depend on that provider, and not every song has synced lyrics.
Looked-up lyrics are cached on your device so they can be shown offline. Lyrics remain the property of their rights holders.
Contributions are optional one-time purchases. They are not subscriptions, they do not renew, and they do not unlock any music feature — every feature is already available for free.
Payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms. LOCAL does not receive or store your payment details.
Public recognition is optional and always requires your explicit opt-in. No nickname, message, badge or ranking is ever shown publicly without it, and you can remove yourself at any time.
LOCAL never fabricates supporters, contribution totals or rankings. Where verified community data is unavailable, no figures are shown.

LOCAL is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Audio formats, metadata and third-party services can change or fail without notice.
